Apply as an Artist

LGBTQPlus Art welcomes applications from artists around the world whose work meaningfully engages with LGBTQ+ identities, experiences, communities, and related cultural and social subjects.

As a pioneering international platform dedicated exclusively to curated LGBTQ+ art, we connect selected artists with art lovers and collectors worldwide. Artists accepted by our curatorial team can present and sell their work globally through LGBTQPlusArt.com while becoming part of a carefully selected artistic community.

Our Selection Process

Artists are primarily selected based on the quality and originality of their work, their professional experience, the development of their artistic practice, and the direction of their creative journey. We consider both individual artworks and the wider vision that shapes an artist’s portfolio.

We also recognise that an exceptional artistic voice is not always accompanied by an extensive exhibition history. In selected cases, we work with emerging artists and art students who demonstrate remarkable talent, originality, and a distinctive creative vision. A limited professional background should not prevent an extraordinary artwork or promising artistic practice from being discovered.

Every application is reviewed individually by our curatorial team. Portfolio reviews usually take between two and four weeks, after which applicants are contacted with the outcome of their submission.

A Professional and Supportive Space

Our aim is to create a professional, respectful, and supportive environment where artists can freely explore their ideas, develop their practice, and share meaningful work. At the same time, we introduce collectors and art enthusiasts to distinctive artistic voices engaging with LGBTQ+ culture and contemporary experience.
